Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Myrtle Street is wheelchair accessible down to the Gazebo, nearby the sculptures, in Lowell Park. Yes, however they should NOT go close to the sculptures, they must be on a leash, owners are %100 responsible for them; and they must be very cute :)

How long with the snow sculptures be up after the event?

The snow sculptures are expected to stay up until February 6 - weather dependent!

Reminder! NO Smoking allowed in any of the tents.

Please dress for weather conditions and be aware that the walkways around the snow sculptures will become slippery. Event staff will be maintaining the event grounds to avoid this, as best as possible.

How can this event happen without snow?

The event can happen with cold temps; we have a partner, Afton Alps, that makes the snow. The
conditions need to be ideal (snowmaking is an art and a science!) Even during a season when we receive
heavy snowfall, the sculptors need clean snow to work with, so we have partnered with expert
snowmakers. Our social channels and website will have the latest information.

With the warm temps, is the event happening?

Yes, we are continuing to move forward with our planning, even though Mother Nature has not been
cooperating this winter. Our official snow partner, Afton Alps, sees snowmaking windows on the
horizon. Cold temps will give Afton Alps the weather conditions they need to make snow. Stay tuned to
our social channels and the website for the latest information. Think Cold!
